Charters announces its first-ever Food Festival.

Charters invites residents to a fun holiday feast next weekend.

Charters invites residents to come and participate in a busy holiday weekend on Saturday April 30 and Sunday May 1.

Attendees can indulge in unique cultural dishes, drinks, and desserts from around the world.

The food festival will feature both local and national businesses to participate and showcase their foods, beverages and desserts.

Some of the amazing dishes on order include Azahar’s Spanish Foods, which will be making paella on Saturday, as well as the House of Feasts kiosk, which will be showcasing their amazing Polish sausages and more.

The free event will also feature daytime music from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, and live music from Generation 5pan starting at 10 p.m.

Sunday (May 1) will feature a live jazz DJ set as well as live solo artist Dan Poole.

A Charters spokesperson said: “We hope this will be the first of many annual food festival events here at Charters, and our aim is to bring something new and vibrant to the people of Peterborough.

“By hosting this event, we also want to positively support and promote as many quality local small businesses as possible. When you’re thirsty…we’ll take care of it, and when you’re hungry, our guest vendors will take care of it. “
