Name a new luxury ship with REVVEL, a three-day festival with Covid safety in mind

In partnership with Virgin Voyages, Thrillist is hosting a limited edition event next month that’s sure to float your boat. REVVEL is a three-day floating playground that will take place on the new luxury ship, Scarlet Lady, from September 16-18 while docked at Pier 88 in Manhattan. Starting on a Thursday and running through Saturday, go on an IRL adventure aboard this beachfront boutique hotel.

“We have been waiting for over a year to bring Scarlet Lady to New York to showcase our amazing new brand and provide a taste of the Virgin Voyages experience to our sailors on the East Coast,” said Nirmal Saverimuttu, Commercial Director and experience at Virgin. Travel. “We are delighted to be working with Thrillist to create a never-before-seen sea experience. “

Dine in one of the six exciting restaurants offering unlimited food and drinks led by Michelin-starred chefs like Brad Farmerie (Saxon and Parole, PUBLIC) and Matt Lambert (Musket Room) with cuisines ranging from New American Cuisine (Wake) to Mexican cuisine at Pink Agave. Guests can expect a multi-day cultural experience without leaving the shores of New York City, and all with the flexibility to step back on dry land at any time.

The main events of the week include the Feeling Nauty Drag Pool Party hosted by drag artist Trixie Mattel and the Bushwick Nightlife Institution, House of Yes, and will offer a champagne toast and a drag show. In addition, the REVVEL Music Festival will be hosted by Major Lazer sound system (and surprise guests) with the possibility of dancing in three distinct concert halls with varied musical vibrations.

Tickets start at $ 100 and can be purchased separately for each event or as part of the following VIP experiences for two guests: the XL Sea Terrace for $ 1000 or Rockstar neighborhoods for $ 1,200, which includes cabin accommodation or luxury suites.

Along with a full range of organized festivities, sailors can also expect the same attention to detail when it comes to guest safety. In the interest of absolute safety, the majority of all events have been designed to take place outdoors and comply with state, county and CDC requirements. In addition to proof of vaccination upon registration, all participants must take a rapid COVID-19 test within 36 hours and present negative results upon arrival at Pier 88.

“We are excited to partner with Virgin Voyages to create an innovative series of events that will pave the way for how brands can safely bring IRL experiences back into people’s lives,” said Meghan Kirsch, Head of content at Thrillist.

Additionally, Thrillist will continue to monitor our ever-changing COVID-19 landscape – check it out website for more information and updates on our security protocols.
