YachtLife connects customers with their dream boats, charters via their smartphones – WSVN 7News | Miami News, Weather, Sports

Social distancing in style! It can get a bit stuffy sitting at home, but hanging out with friends or family on a spacious yacht? It’s more like that. Captain Alex Miranda is charting the course for us tonight.

We live in the Sunshine State! You have to take advantage of it, right?

There’s a 305-based yacht service that connects you with your dream boat, whether you’re looking to charter or buy.

Permission to board!

Dang, Miami, you look gorgeous.

This exquisite journey from Miami Beach to Downtown and Brickell Key is brought to you by YachtLife.

Patrick Curley, YachtLife: “Basically, we are a yacht broker. We sell yachts and we rent yachts. We happen to have a really simple user interface, and it’s right in everyone’s pocket, all the time.

It’s like booking a hotel room but for yachts.

YachtLife operates in 25 countries with over 1,000 yachts available for charter worldwide, but we cruised a stunning 70ft Prestige called Helloooooo.

A half day on this bad boy will set you back around $4,000. Cha Ching!

Patrick Curley: “It has three heads, a main cabin, three cabins. You have a magnificent flybridge.

And room to spare! Now this kind of social distancing that we can get used to.

Patrick Curley: “The hospitality industry is going to be hit very hard. Chartering yachts, by its very nature, however, is very private. You leave with your group. You are with people you know. You will never have more than 13 people on a charter yacht anywhere in the world. It’s just not allowed.

In addition, the crew is top notch.

They literally rolled out the red carpet for us!

Once on board, let the party begin!

Whether you want to hang out with the group or have time to yourself, there’s plenty of space for everyone.

Client Lana Zotova: “Love the idea that you can only see your friends, hang out, have fun, drink, party, whatever, have the best time, but still kind of social distancing.”

Reza Rahbaran, client: “It’s a beautiful environment, big and spacious. Being on the ocean, on the water, allows you to escape, for a short time, from the reality in which you find yourself at the moment.

Whatever the situation, YachtLife aims to make those trips memorable.

Patrick Curley: “We really try to adapt each charter to the client’s objectives and wishes.”

Special thanks to the yacht owner and his crew for being super cool with us.

Yacht charter prices in Miami start around $2,000 for half a day.
